If you take a look to the Padlock module when using Layout 1, all the menu lists on the homepage will still appear. If you want to remove the menu list on the homepage until the user logs in, please use this CSS.
How to use:
Copy and paste this CSS to your Colors tab> Advanced Customization CSS / SCSS Section of your editor.
